Athlone Hall

Covid update:

We are re-opening our community halls and have started taking bookings for allowed activities and events from 17 May onwards. Please read our Conditions of Hire to check whether your gathering/activity is currently allowed and if our limited capacity is suitable for you before contacting. If you have any other questions, please contact us by emailing or calling 0300 323 0325 and asking to speak to the Community Development team.

Located just five minutes' walk from Kentish Town West Overground, Athlone Hall is an ideal location to host meetings, community groups and exercise classes. The space receives plenty of natural light and guests are welcome to enjoy the large garden surrounding the building.  The hall also has blackout ability with projector and screen available on request.

The hall features a large garden, functional kitchen with microwave, kettle and large fridge. It is furnished with 6 large tables and 46 chairs and receives plenty of natural light, making it a great venue for many occasions. The kitchen cannot be used for cooking but warming food is fine.  Parking is available in the local residential streets at certain times. Due to our space capacity and social distancing measures, 20 people maximum for Athlone Hall.

The hall is available to book Monday to Sunday, from 9am to 9pm.

How much does it cost?

The charge is £35 per hour, or £20 per hour for community groups, local charities or £20 for Origin residents.

If you are eligible for the discounted rate, please complete this form, and we will create a discounted booking account for you.

A £100 deposit is required, and is refunded after your booking if the hall was left in good condition. We will be in touch the week before your booking to take the deposit payment. A flat fee of £15 per booking will be added to your booking charge to cover the additional costs of Covid safety measures.
