We're part of the Pan-London Housing Reciprocal

What is it, and what does it mean for our residents?

The Pan-London Housing Reciprocal Agreement is a voluntary, joint project between housing providers and local authorities.

We're aiming to prevent homelessness for residents across London at high risk of domestic abuse, violence against women and girls, hate crimes, and gang or other serious threatening activity. If there is nowhere available for residents at risk to move to with one housing provider, residents can be referred to apply to move somewhere safe with another housing provider and still keep their social tenancy.

We're excited to be a part of the project, and thankful to Safer London for organising a way for housing providers and local authorities to work together to make property available for those who need it the most. The idea to join the group came from one of our support workers when she was helping a resident to search for somewhere safer to live. The resident has since been offered a property from another housing provider.
