We Are Ageing Better is a project we deliver in St Pancras and Somers Town with Ageing Better in Camden. The project brings people together to share skills and experiences, and create change in the community. It is open to everyone over 60 in St Pancras and Somers Town.
We Are Ageing Better members on last month's trip to Whitstable.
Friday 2 August All Day, Coach trip to Ramsgate, £7
Leaving from Origin Housing, St Richards House, 110 Eversholt Street, NW1 1BS
Come and join us for another seaside outing. Places are limited. Please book and pay at The Living
Centre. The coach will leave from Origin Housing at 8.30am and we will leave Ramsgate at 4.30pm.
Wednesday 7 August 2pm-4pm, Tour of Buckingham Palace, free
Meet at the Visitor Entrance (Gate C), Buckingham Palace, SW1A 1AA
Please note that this tour involves a lot of walking and requires good mobility. We will request step free
access but please let Jess know in advance if you would like a wheelchair booked or have other access needs. Limited places, book with Jess.
Friday 9 August 10.30am-12pm, Hampstead Heath walk with Sustrans, free
Meet at 10.15am at Hampstead Heath Rail Station
Join us for a walk around the Heath and up Parliament Hill for a beautiful view of London.
Monday 19 August, 3:30pm-6.05pm, Six-Five Special Party, free
Basil Jellicoe Hall, Drummond Crescent, NW1 1LE
Come and sing along to some 50s/60s classics and have a boogie.
Tuesday 20 August 2.30pm-4pm, Museum of the Order of St John (Clerkenwell), free
Meet at the Living Centre, Ossulston Street at 2pm to get the 46 bus together
Join Lester Hillman for a walk and talk in and around the museum followed by a cup of tea and cake in the sun (or in a cafe if it rains.)
