Safety workshops for primary schools near HS2 construction

12/06/2018

Construction work to build HS2, a new high-speed rail network, is underway. Phase one of the planned work will link London to Birmingham and there are a number of communities affected by the work in their area. HS2 are offering free health and safety workshops to local primary schools.

HS2 have said that health and safety is a priority for them in their delivery of the new rail network, so for primary schools that are near planned construction work, HS2 have arranged for Arc Theatre to run interactive health and safety workshops for primary schools along the Phase one route of HS2.

The workshop, Playing it Safe, helps to get across the dangers of construction sites and what trespassing can lead to. The sessions are for years five and six, for groups of 30 to 90 pupils and Arc Theatre can run two sessions per day. There’s a limited amount of sessions available, so click the following link to find out more information or contact the organiser.
