GDPR - what does it mean for you?

25/05/2018

What is the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)?

On 25 May 2018 a huge change in the way all companies handle data, and the rights that consumers have, comes into force.

This new regulation is called the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and is applicable across the EU. Even with Brexit - this will apply to everyone in the UK.

The regulations will be incorporated into the Data Protection Act 2018 which also comes into force onto 25 May.

It builds on the current Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) and will strengthen the legislation, giving you more rights and protections.

Here you can see our Privacy Notice which explains how we handle and process your personal data.
