Closure order secured to protect customers and community in Watford

We’ve taken action following serious and ongoing concerns linked to one of our homes in Watford.

After reports of anti-social behaviour, criminal activity, drug-related crime and serious violence at a home in St Marks House, Churchfields Road, a full closure order was granted at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on Friday 30 January.

The order means the home will be closed for three months, with access limited to authorised personnel only, this means we can now apply to the courts for full repossession of the home.

We’d like to thank everyone for their close partnership working between colleagues at Origin Housing, Hertfordshire Constabulary and Watford Borough Council, alongside our Customers. It reflects our ongoing commitment to keeping Customers safe in their homes and neighbourhoods.
