Celebrate equality with us for EqualiTeas

EqualiTeas is a chance to celebrate 90 years of men and women over 21 having the equal right to vote, since the Representation of the People Act 1928 was passed. From 18 June to 2 July, EqualiTeas events are happening all over the country and we've joined up with Somers Town History Club to put on an event too.

We're inviting you to our EqualiTeas event, in partnership with Somers Town History Club. We're going to celebrate democracy, debate what equality means and discuss the Equal Franchise Act with local history groups. The event will also focus on the strong women of Somers Town and we'll get to hear about key female figures from our organisation's history.

The event is on Thursday 21 June from 5.30pm - 7.30pm at Basil Jellicoe Hall on Drummond Cresecent in Somers Town. Find out more details here.

If you're not able to come to our event on the 21 June, you can find other public events happening near you by visiting the EqualiTeas website.
