Ofsted praised Camden's Children's Services for this consistent and impactful approach, noting that children in care "continue to benefit" from the relational work of staff at all levels. The report highlights Camden's "innovative and ambitious" efforts to improve support for young people through “multidimensional projects and workstreams”.

The report also emphasised the “outstanding services” provided to care leavers, with many making “exceptional progress”.

Our Young People Service was one of the services included in this inspection and this involved a physical visit to the service by inspectors, an inspection of our processes, our record keeping and conversations about the support we deliver to achieve the best outcomes for our young people.

Councillor Richard Olszewski, Leader of Camden Council commented, ‘A huge thank you to every single member of the team, and to our partners, for their unwavering commitment’.

Camden is the only local authority in the country to achieve the highest possible ratings of 'Outstanding' from both Ofsted for its Children's Services and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for its Adult Social Care.
The council remains committed to building on this success and continuing to improve its services for children and families.
