Local summer events with A Space For Us

They describe the Museum space as 'The People’s Museum Somers Town: A Space for Us is a space to celebrate Somers Town’s ‘radical, reformers and rebels‘ histories, to record a change now, as well as to campaign and preserve local working class heritage. It’s also a space for the community to meet and take part via their memory cafes, drop ins and youth collective.'

There are all kinds of things going on throughout the Summer and the team at A Space For Us are keen to get local partners and residents involved as much as possible - so have a read through the options below and get in contact if you'd be interested in visiting or helping out!

All events will be affordable or free for Origin Residents.

More information on all of the events taking place are below.

The community-led collective have produced four books and two films, 60 events with over 500 contributors on local histories are now consulted on matters such as the Cecil Rhodes House renaming project and helping to engage with ‘hard to reach’ groups.
