Frequently asked questions (FAQs) for Origin Housing tenants

What happens to items left in communal walkways?

As they are a health and safety hazard, the Neighbourhood Officer would normally ask the owner to remove the items within 7 days. If they are not removed, a photo is taken of the item(s) and they are removed. They will be stored for a further 7 days and then disposed of. We have an obligation to adhere to fire safety regulations.
