Origin Housing was formed after the boards of SPH Housing and Griffin Homes decided that they should now trade and provide services as this new organisation. Both SPH and Griffin housing associations have been members of Origin Group for a while, and by agreeing to work closer as one association, we can concentrate on providing better customer service and use our resources more effectively. Two advantages will be that there is less confusion in neighbourhoods where Griffin and SPH tenants and customers live together, and that different parts of the group will work better together. Service will benefit because we can focus closer on north London and Hertfordshire - which are nearer our offices and resources. These changes will NOT affect rent and service charges, the terms and conditions of tenancies, nor the way tenants and customers access services.
