24/05/2013Origin have been involved with the ‘Yes to Homes’ initiative that is working to address the housing shortage that shows little sign of abating. Many people can’t afford to rent a home in the neighbourhoods where they grew up but there is a simple solution. We need to build more of the right homes, in the right place, at the right price. The decisions about housing are being made locally, by local people and local councillors. While councillors are the ones that hold the keys to unlocking this problem, they need YOU to tell them it matters.

Resident Scrutiny Panel targets complaints

17/05/2013The Origin Resident Scrutiny Panel is back in action - looking to review another of Origin’s important services to make sure that we continue to improve and deliver quality services. Following the successful completion of their Service Charge Review, the next service that the panel have chosen to look at is Origin’s Complaints Service.

Origin feature on 2012 Top 50 UK Affordable Housing Developments list

13/05/2013All three schemes we submitted to Inside Housing’s ‘Top 50 UK affordable housing developments’ made it onto the Top 50 UK Affordable Housing Developments list 2012 . The Move, Boxtree Lane and Archway Heights have all been included on the list illustrating the fantastic output of our Development team, with only Origin and Great Places Housing Group having had three schemes featured.
