Forming successful partnerships is the background to providing desirable new developments. We believe that working in partnership enables all parties to get the best results and minimise risks in delivering new accommodation. Our approach aims at being commercial, flexible and innovative in meeting the requirements of partners in both public and private sectors.
Our early and open involvement can often generate additional benefits otherwise not available through balancing the needs of the various partners and stakeholders, including developers, LA’s and funders.
Louden Rd project
Most of our development programme is generated by our own investment in land and appointing design and construction services. We also work closely with developers on S106 schemes, often facilitating the planning process more affectively then a unilateral approach by developers. We are keen to explore options for joint ventures to share in risks on developments including higher proportions of commercial and private sale properties.

Origin has a partnership agreement with Octavia Housing Association and Shepherds Bush Housing Association. This was formed in 2005 originally to enable us to bid as joint partners for Social Housing Grant. This continues to be a core purpose of the partnership, enabling us to pool our skills, expertise and resources to manage our development programmes and our cash take up effectively with the Homes and Communities agency. Our collaboration runs wider to include joint procurement of supplies and services, training and sharing of best practice.
