Our history

Origin The members of the group that became Origin Housing
have over 100 years of experience between them. They were born out of communities needing housing and support in Camden, Enfield, Stevenage and other parts of London and Hertfordshire.

Who leads

Origin Housing is led by a board with a wide range of experience in relevant fields, who are concerned to improve quality of life for our customers. Chairman of the Origin board is Colin Sherriff, who has over 30 years’ experience in the housing sector.

Karen Wilson has been Chief Executive of the group for five years and has over 25 years experience in the housing sector.

Karen is supported by an executive team who are responsible for Origin’s housing and property management, care & support services, community activities, development programme and back-office services.Read more about our leadership
